Looking at the displays & watching the short film.
I found this to be very interesting. There was also a plaque explaining the differences between the Mennonites & the Amish. I took a pic of it but it doesn't show up well here.

This place was great! They even had a corner with toys for the kids to play with. I could have hugged them for this!
Beautiful handmade quilt with Christian symbols
Our Tour Begins
This was a huge, beautiful mural. Our guide is explaining the courtyard of the Tabernacle.
This photo & the one above it are a display of the courtyard.
The tour before us was big but ours consisted of only the three of us. At first it felt a little weird but our guide Kristin was very nice. She was pleased to find out we were home schoolers & tailored the tour to us. She gave examples that the girls could relate to and we were able to ask as many questions as we wanted. It was terrific! We learned a lot.
Gemstones of Aaron's Breastplate & Incense
After our tour we roamed in the gift shop again. This time everything made sense! We knew exactly what certain things were & the meaning and symbolism behind them. Very cool!
If you find yourself in the Lancaster area be sure to visit the Mennonite Visitors Center. You will learn so much!
