I woke up & everyone was outside but Dimples & Sweet Pea. Dimples was hanging out in the swing while Sweet Pea watched her & read. I took the opportunity for some playtime with Dimples. Oh, she is a cutie! I was ecstatic to capture her smile on my camera!

Lazy Afternoon
After saying a tearful good-bye to Matt, Jenny & our precious nieces we got ready & headed out to our friends' b-day party for her 2-year old son. It was a hot & humid day but the kids still had a good time. We came back home to cool off & have naps. It was a lazy afternoon napping, reading & watching t.v. Perfect.
Tomorrow if it's not as humid we'll start cleaning for our next round of company. I'm hoping to also prepare for our fun first day of school on Monday & maybe get some lesson plans written. We shall see!

Wah!
Matt, Jenny & the girls leave tomorrow. I'm sad but oh, so thankful that we had this precious time. Our little nieces have stolen a piece of my heart. I will miss them & their mama and daddy so much.
I hope to post the rest of our visit pictures soon. Be prepared, I have a ton! Lol!

More!
Here are the pictures I promised.
She was funny. She wore this towel everywhere yesterday morning.
Aren't they sweet together?
I remember when Boo was this age & Aunt Jenny read to Boo. It's sweet to see Boo now reading to Aunt Jenny's little one.
Bugs is facinated with the baby & of course Cupcake wanted to be with her sister too.
Matt is helping us get our gutters up. What a blessing!
CAUTION: Brothers at Work
Being goofy & wise-cracking. Lol.
Time Flies
Again, this brings back memories of S.P. at this age & Aunt Jenny cooking with her. How neat that our girls can play & work together now.

Favorites
These are two of my favorite shots from today.
Don't worry I'll post the rest of them tomorrow! Lol!
Visiting
Here are a few pictures from yesterday. It was HOT, HOT, HOT here! So that's why we all are "glistening".
Munchkin & E-boy playing in the "new" playroom.
Proud Uncle Dave with Dumpling
We are having such a good time. The kids are getting along beautifully & E-boy is enjoying having kids to play with that are closer to his age. The girls are stepping in and loving their roles as "Big Cousins" teaching the little ones, reading to them & letting them "help" with projects. It's neat to see.
Dave & Matt are being goofy as usual and also getting a lot of needed things done at the same time. Matt shaved down our bathroom door and it no longer sticks. Yay! The guys also started hanging the gutters. Matt has been a great help as he knows what tools, equipment, etc. to use & is also a hard worker like Dave. Jenny & I are having a great time chatting and even made it out to the grocery store alone! Wow! Lol!

Sugar & Spice & Everything Nice
I'm in my glory. Our nieces are visiting - a 3-month old, a pre-schooler & a toddler. I am in Little Girl Heaven! LOL! Now those of you who know me know without a doubt that I LOVE & ADORE my boys. Wouldn't trade them for ANYTHING. Lately though I've been longing for another little girl. My family is in agreement. We are all LOVING this time with our 3 nieces/cousins. They are the sweetest little girls & absolutely adorable. Bright too! Yep, I'm a braggin Auntie. We are having such fun cuddling & coaxing smiles from little Dumpling, playing & dancing with Cupcake & chatting with and running around with Munchkin. I'll post pictures later if it's okay with their mama. In the meantime if you're looking for me I'll most likely be cuddling Dumpling & getting my "Baby Fix". *wink*

"Summer Cleaning"?
I've heard of 'Spring Cleaning' & 'Fall Cleaning' but 'Summer Cleaning'? We've purged every summer but this time I'm also doing my Spring/Fall cleaning as I go along. As I mentioned before we are having 2 batches of company over the next 2-3 weeks. It's a great motivator for getting those 'extras' done! We are giving up our bedroom & as a result it's getting cleaned top to bottom. I've even organized my vanity & nightstand drawers! Dave is helping me hang decor & frames tonight. Hooray! We need to hang our curtains too, (yep, 4 years & still no curtains lol - but we do have blinds), but I think that will have to wait.
The kids are helping some but it's like pulling teeth most of the time. What they don't seem to get is if we all work together it'll get done that much faster & we'll all have more downtime.
Enough rambling.......
Back to a little more cleaning and organizing & then I'm hitting the hay. I'm so tired I'm about to fall on my face. This cold & insomnia is taking it's toll.
What a FUN Day!
On Wednesday we went on a field trip with one of our homeschool groups. Three families went for a total of 4 moms & 15 children. It was such a fun day! It took about an hour to drive out but it went quickly. We drove through some towns I didn't even know existed in our state! Lol! The scenery was beautiful & charming. The park was huge & clean. Very pretty area too. We packed a lot into one day & on the drive home only one child stayed awake while the other 4 fell asleep. What a great day!
Bugs boarding the train ride.
Sweet Pea & E-boy
I love this! Bugs looks so darn cute!
Boo & Best Friend posing.
Riding on the train was fun. It was a longer ride than at the other park too. Yay!
E-boy observes the birds at the zoo. The birds that live at the park are given a safe home as they are injured & cannot live on their own in the wild.
Or in our case the yellow jackets. Ack!
Mama & E-boy share lunch.
Thirsty boy!
Picnic Lunch
Boo Bear
The kids took some time after lunch to ride their scooters & play with toys.
Terry & Sweet Pea talk about the scary chase the Yellow Jacket gave Terry. Poor lady ran round & round the picnic table. It was funny to watch though! Sorry, Terry! Lol!
The line took quite awhile & it was tough for little E-boy to wait. BUT the good news is that they were given as much time in the boats as the ones before them. So all that waiting was worth it!
It was funny to watch the girls. At first all they did was spin in circles. Terry & I laughed and laughed and cheered them on.
What a Fun Day! ~ Part 2
Somehow I flubbed & deleted these from my original post. Here they are!
What fun they had!
More Fun
Some pics of our friends on the bumper boats.
My Big Boy
E-boy & his new friend observed the flowers & their seeds as we waited for the girls to finish golfing.
E-boy loves these binoculars.
Do you think maybe Bugs has had enough? Poor little guy.
**************
It really was a terrific day. Thank you Terry for inviting us!
I don't know when I laughed harder, when you were screaming about the spider & I was laughing so hard I had a coughing fit and the Ranger came over to see if we were okay; when we all freaked out over the Yellow Jackets, or when I came out of the restroom with a stream of toilet paper flowing out behind me! LOL! Rolling!
