E-boy graduated to another new book in math. He is flying through this one! On Thursday he worked on simple measuring. He enjoyed the hands on time. The girls worked on their writing curriculum. They LOVE this program. It is hands on & fun. They did 3 lessons & wanted to do more but we had to move on. Bugs of course played & got into things while we did school. He's at that age! Lol.
E-boy is measuring his shoe using toothpicks. Next he will use paperclips as his measuring tool.
I know I posted this in the fall but for those of you who missed it & are interested here it is.
He likes to stay close when we are schooling
Boo working on her writing assignment.
Boo working on her writing assignment.
The lesson was to write several adjectives descriptively.
Still working hard!
E-boy now measures the television.
Recording his data.
He measures the length of the table with his trusty toothpicks.
He is such a goofball. Lol!
In this assignment they had to use their adjectives in a 4 or 5 sentence story. This is Boo's story. She struggles with her handwriting but not her imagination! Great job, Boo!
This cracked me up & also made me gag a little. You will see why! Lol!

In our writing assignments we didn't worry about spelling and such as the idea was to creatively write. We'll work on the polishing when we do Grammar. The girls' last writing assignment for the day was acronyms. They really enjoyed creating these! I can't show you b/c they use their real names - Boo chose her sister & Sweet Pea chose her baby brother - but believe me when I tell you they were impressive!
Much to Mommy's sorrow Bugs is trying to give up naps. I wouldn't mind so much if he didn't turn into a terror around 1p.m. This day we tried the stroller indoors. Here is he all snuggled up & watching television. He did go to sleep while Sissy rocked him so it did work for a bit!
