New Adventures

We've been so busy that I forgot to tell you about a very exciting event here at home! Fuzzy Wuzzy came out of his cocoon! We weren't sure if he was dead or alive he had been in there so long. But one night Sweet Pea checked on him and he was out and crawling around his box. She had checked the day before and he was still inside so she must have just missed his hatching. It was fun to watch her set him free and see him get his first taste of the great outdoors in his "new duds".

We ended up putting him into the flower garden in a protected area. That way he could rest up until he was ready to fly.
