Memorial Day Parade

I'm getting a little down time tonight - YAY! - so I'm updating my blog a bit. These are some pics from Memorial Day. The children marched in on of the local small town parades. Our church marches in the parade every year. This year only us & one other family showed up to march. Sad. We had a good time anyway. I had such fun handing out little flags to people on the sidelines. I get a kick out of that kind of thing. Lol. It's fun to watch the kids faces' light up as they are given something. Afterward there was a little service at the local graveyard. It was a good lesson for our children regarding the sacrifices our brave soldiers have made for us. Elvis was able to grasp it this year and still talks about our soldiers whenever we drive by that graveyard on the way to church.
