Potty Training ~ Day #2

Dave has been busy these past 2 days potty training Bugs. He is using the same system he used with Elvis. We've tried all the regular stuff but it didn't work with the boys. Plus with our world being upside down this summer & fall it wasn't the time to try this. The biggest hurdle seems to be recognizing the "gotta go" feeling. This program helps with that in that you keep the child drinking making them have to go often. Eventually they connect the feeling with the constant sprints to the potty and BINGO! Bugs is doing well. The light bulb is beginning to go on. Of course time will tell if this really works but there is hope! He is being very cooperative in running into the bathroom each time Daddy asks him too. This is BIG! Hooray! He is so very proud of himself whenever he emerges victorious. Of course we all clap, cheer him on and reward him with a little candy treat. I love his toothless grin! And he looks so darn cute in his big boy underwear paired with his t-shirt!
