Tuesday & Wednesday it poured. Sheets of rain, wind & in the evenings lightening & thunder. I have not seen that much constant rain in a long time! By the time it was all said & done we had 4 to 5 inches of rain. Can you imagine that? I think of that in terms of snow to wrap my mind around it. Whoa! Thankfully our home is not in a flooding area. PTL!
As we hit the middle of the second day we began to get a bit of cabin fever. I let the kids outside as it was not thundering or lightening and they had a blast. They danced, played leapfrog, raced and had good old fashioned fun.
