Our Day In Court

We go back to court tomorrow. For those of you who don't know our story here is the mini-version. In 2001 we found out we were victims of fraud. We had been told and it had been documented that our septic system had been inspected and passed but in fact the person never did the inspection. He only signed the papers saying he did. When we went to sell the house the septic system completely failed leaving us with the bill of $23,000 to install a new one. We sued the inspector and won but have been fighting the past 7 years to get our $. The judge seems to always show pity to the criminal instead of to us. Crazy. The guy is supposed to make minute payments to us but stopped doing even that a year ago. No one makes him and there is no consequence when he disobeys the court order so I'm sure he figures why bother. BTW, we weren't the first or only people he swindled. But we are the only ones who have stayed the fight and kept him accountable. Thank God we have a lawyer that works on contingency as it is the only way we are able to continue on. So, that's the story. I am going to court b/c our lawyer feels it would be good to have one of us there in person for the judge to see. Since Dave is in TN that leaves me. =) I'll let you know if anything happens!
