Today was Day #1 of our 'Cleaning & Organization Week'. I was excited to get started but life had other plans. A friend needed our help watching her dogs while she had to run out of town at the last minute. We were happy to help. Sweet Pea went over this morning with Dave before he left for work. BUT she left the key she was given in the van which Dave took to work. Ack! I ended up having to drive 45 minutes to go get the keys. Dave used his lunch break to meet me halfway. What a guy! Since I had to go out I decided to get my trip to the Sleep Center out of the way. I picked up my new BIPAP mask and then ran to Lowe's & the Dollar Tree. By the time I was done with all my running I had been gone almost 3 hours. Then we had to go let the dogs out at our friend's. When we got home we all took a break for lunch & then finally got started.
My CLEAN TEAM
I picked up these nail aprons at Lowe's to add a little fun as we tackled our cleaning. I also picked up a few extra buckets & cleaning supplies. Go team!
Isn't she cute?
I decided to start with the videos. Little did I know what I had started!I didn't realize how many videos we have. I had cleaned out before we moved 2 years ago but more have come in the door. Plus they are kept in 3 different places in the house which hid how many they really were. Wow!

I love it, love it, love it! What a way to get a "Clean Team" going! My organization is done and everything is in it's place. The kids are really good at it, but how do you get rid of the hubby's things that are just piling up in a corner or in a closet. UGH! Please help. I need some ideas to get his things in order. What to do, what to do?
Way to go on getting a whole bucket of videos out of the house. And now the one that you do have are organized so they can be watched. :) I hate when my plans get all wonky by life happening, but you took it in stride and made the most of it. Winner of a day, Kristine!!! :)
It looks great!! I love the aprons... Princess looks especially cute.. hehe. I've been cleaning and organizing too and am also tackling the kitchen cabinets tomorrow!
Rhonda, kudos on getting everything in it's place! Wow! I hope to get there & hopefully keep it there for at least a little bit. As for hubby's stuff I wish I knew. I've tried different things with Dave. At our old house we had a basement so I'd send most of his piles down there. Banished! Lol! Here he has a pile on his side of the closet & and tower of junk on his dresser. His drawers barely close. If I come up with any new ideas I'll let you know. =)
Thanks for the cheers, ladies! That gears me up for another day tomorrow. =0) Julia, have fun with your cabinets tomorrow. Lol! I know I'll be spending quality time with mine. Hee, hee!
A very lovely team.
Good to read many of your personal stories.
I really enjoyed reading.
Keep it up.
