Fall is here. It arrived in a rush. School, AWANA, youth group, Bible studies, homeschool co-op, soccer for 3, field trips, & enrichment classes fill our schedule to the brim. In between the rainy days we are still having adventures. We started with a trip to the aquarium. Boy was it huge! Most recently was a trip to see & ride Thomas the Tank Engine. Soon we will be celebrating two birthdays. We hope to find time to go on our annual apple picking trip too. Though it is crazy busy I love fall and all the fun things we are doing. I may fall behind at points but I promise to keep posting.

"Cleaning house with children is like shoveling snow in a blizzard." ~ Erma Bombeck
Quote of the Week
A baby will make love stronger, days shorter, nights longer, bankroll smaller, home happier, clothes shabbier, the past forgotten & the future worth living for.
There are only two lasting bequests we can hope to give our children. One is roots; the other, wings. ~ Hodding Carter
"Happy is the home with at least one cat" - Italian Proverb
"Avoid fruits & nuts. You are what you eat." Jim Davis
"I remember my mother's prayers and they have always followed me. They have clung to me all my life." ~Abraham Lincoln
There is no better way to thank God for your sight than by giving a helping hand to someone in the dark. ~ Helen Keller
~Psalm 139:13-16 "For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be."
Friendship isn't about whom you have known the longest... It's about who came, and never left your side.
"When I left Queen's my future seemed to stretch out before me like a straight road. I thought I could see along it for many a milestone. Now there is a bend in it. I don't know what lies around the bend, but I'm going to believe that the best does. It has a fascination of its own, that bend, Marilla." ~Anne Shirley L.M. Montgomery
** Announcement ***
She is here! Safe & sound & BEAUTIFUL! We are all wrapped around her little fingers. Our little princess arrived on April 6 at 8:06a.m. by C-section. She surprised us all by weighing only 7lbs. 9oz. We had expected her to be at least 9lbs. based on the ultrasounds. She is also 19.5 inches long. A little peanut! As you can see from some of her hospital photos she is already learning to accessorize. Lol. The nursery nurses at the hospital stuck a pink bow in her hair. I love it! I will not be publishing her real name on my blog due to safety reasons, (just like I have done for my older children), but if you'd like to know feel free to email me privately and I'd be happy to share.
