Apple Time!

APPLE TIME! Every year we go to a nearby orchard and pick apples. It's lovely to get outdoors in the fall weather & spend some time together. Later on we make all sorts of treats with the apples we have picked. This is one of our favorite traditions!

Hay Ride!
We always go on the weekend when there is a tractor pulled hay ride to take us out to the orchard.

Hello!
The boys enjoyed waving at the others as we passed by.

Posing in the Orchard

Christmas Card?
I love these pics so much I'm thinking of maybe using one for our Christmas card this year.

My Monkeys ~ LOL!

And He's Off!
Getting a running start towards the apple trees.

Scouting for just the right kind.

I Spy With My Little Eye.....Something RED!

Who Needs a Ladder?
Daddy does the job just fine!

SUCCESS!

See, Mommy?

Two Apples are More Fun Than One!

Boo Time!
Boo poses for the camera.

Boo Gets a Turn Picking Apples Up High

E-boy's Turn!
He made us chuckle as he gathered as many as his arms could hold. He was determined to get every apple within reach!

Silly Sisters
Maybe Boo shouldn't have worn red? Hee, hee.

Mommy's Turn!
I love this tradition. It's so "back to basics", ya know?

Hee, hee!
You know me.....always joking around! Lol!

Got it!
I finally captured Bugs' "COMING!" face on film. He is such a clown.

Sweet Pea took a nice picture of the rest of us.

Yummy Snack
Bugs' enjoyed munching on apples as we picked.

No Photos Please........
I tried to get a pic with Bugs but he was tired of the paparazzi. *grin*

After gathering a bushel of apples to take home we stopped at a different orchard to buy some tasty Cider Doughnuts. Another fun tradition!

The Celebration Continues!

Bugs had 2 birthday parties. His first one was with us & for the next one Grannie & Uncle Tim joined us. Here are the pictures! I still can't believe my baby is growing up so fast.

Present from Grandma & Grandpa in PA.

How much fun are these? Bugs LOVES them!

Thomas the Tank Engine!

All Set Up & Ready to Party

Birthday Boy & Thomas Fan

New Bud
Normally I don't buy the kids stuffed animals and especially not extra large ones. We have so many in the house as it is! But when I saw Bugs carrying this Care Bear around at the church sale I couldn't resist. He looked so stink'in cute! It cracks me up that it's as big as Bugs.

From Grannie & Grandpa

And some extra people & animals to go with it!

Second Try is the Charm
Sweet Pea finally got Bugs to unwrap her gift. A Rescue Heroes Command Center!

Thomas!
Bugs was very happy with his new Thomas train & tracks.

Waiting for Cake

Who Cares About Cake! I want Thomas! Lol!

HILARIOUS!
Bugs saw the M&M's outlining his cake and he dug right in. At first I thought he was picking off the cookie pieces but nope it was the M&M's. He plucked them off as fast as he could stuffing them into his mouth as fast as his hands could grab them. We were all rolling with laughter! I think he got at least half the cake cleaned off before we slowed him down! LOL!

A Pause
Bugs paused for a moment when Grannie asked him for an M&M. She was teasing him but he was seriously thinking it over.

See?
Grannie was surprised when Bugs gave her a handful of M&M's. What a sweet boy to share his treasure!

Everyone Agrees..........Cake is GOOD!

Caught Ya!
Even though they are growing up they are still little kids at heart. Lol.

Playtime
The kids enjoyed some playtime before bedtime.

We had a fun evening & it was special to have Grannie & Tim celebrate with us.

No Slowing Down

Busy week! I hit the ground running after returning from Florida. My brother, Darin arrived late Wed. night. We have spent Friday night & most of Saturday with him. We will see him again tomorrow for a few hours before he departs for home. We're having a great time. So much so that I haven't had time to post this week! Sorry about that! I'll try to check in again soon. Many pictures to post & stories to tell..............

Home Again

Sorry to not have posted in awhile but I have been in Florida! Yes, you heard that right. One of my best friends in the whole world, Tawdra, treated me to a trip to her new home. She recently moved down there with her family. Our dear friend, Tammy, (another best friend), joined us on our visit. Devyn, Tawdra's oldest daughter was in on the fun too. Four Dolls all in one state......look out! Lol.
Oh, we had a FANTASTIC time! Truthfully I want to go back. Who wouldn't when treated like a queen & hanging out with fellow queens? *grin*

I have a lot to catch up on & I will try to do so soon. Right now upon my arrival home late last night, (midnight), I have hit the ground running. My brother, Darin is coming to visit and is flying in on Wed. I'm excited to see him & the kids are too! I also need to plan for school. My goal is to get into a solid schedule starting next week.

Things will be busy here & I know I have to set my priorities. I love my blogging time & my friends and family here and I will be here as I can! Thanks for understanding!

P.S. Checked my camera just now & I took 170 photos between Thursday & today! All of my trip or related! Think I'm a photo fanatic? LOL!
