Hanging Out in Nashville
After yet another day of driving, Day 5 to be exact, we reached Nashville. Boy, were we all relieved to see the signs showing us we were advancing on the hotel! Here are the hotel suites we stayed in.
I didn't get as many pics as planned b/c on Friday I woke up sick as could be. I was on my own trying to keep 4 kids entertained & relatively quiet. All I wanted to do was sleep I was so miserable but since Dave was at work I was in charge. Thank God for cable t.v.!
Hanging out in our hotel suite.

There was a 2nd story loft. It was cool. There was a bedroom & full bath upstairs. The only downer was b/c the loft was wide open all the noise from below sounded like it was right beside your head when you were upstairs in the bed. It certainly was nice to have 2 full baths one on each floor! Casey lived in the one downstairs as she doesn't get along with the other cats.

PA to Ohio to Kentucky
After visiting G&G in PA it was on to Ohio. We had a reservation to stay in Cincinnati so off we went. The kids & I were amazed at how flat the land was. After living in the beautiful mountains for most of my life and all of the children's lives it was hard to imagine living on such flat land. The second thing we noticed was lots & lots of corn.

PA Visit ~ Part 2
The next morning after our dinner with Grandma, Grandpa, aunts, uncles & cousins the kids got up early eager to spend time with G&G. I wandered outside to find the boys sharing time with Grandpa & many kitties.

PA Visit
On our way down to Tennessee we were able to stop and visit with Dave's parents and a few of his siblings and their families. We were extremely happy this all worked out because we haven't had the opportunity to visit in PA for over 3 years. Bugs hadn't even met his PA grandparents yet! That was exciting to get to introduce him.
The kids had a wonderful time running around in their huge yard, loving on all their kittys and playing with Grandma & Grandpa and their cousins. We all wished the visit could be longer but were very grateful for the time we did have together.
