Funny Moment

FUNNY MOMENT AT TKD:

Bugsy's class was practicing. Their instructor, a 20-some year old black belt, said to them, "You want to punch hard & straight like Rocky." I knew it was coming & waited. A few seconds later one of the kids asked in a puzzled tone, "Who's Rocky?" Their young instructor looked stunned. Then he recovered & answered, "You don't know who Rocky is? Oh no. I suddenly feel OLD!" I couldn't help it. I laughed right out loud. Poor guy. I think this was his first realization that he has graduated into the "older generation". ROTFL!

New Belts!

All four children tested for their new rank in TKD. They were nervous but excited too. This past Friday they all received their new belts & certificates. What an exciting morning!
Bugsy moved up to yellow belt black stripe.
Shaking hands with the black belts as they congratulate him.

I love that you can see the reflection of Boo's smile in the mirror.

Congratulations, Sweet Pea!

I don't think there was a child in attendence more excited than Elvis!

He is beaming!

Proud boy!

Excited & silly at the same time.

Blue belts! YES!

He has worked very hard for this promotion. Yay, Bugsy!

The sweetest little yellow belt you ever did see. =0)

Here are some pics from Taekwando today & at home afterwards. I am thrilled at how all 4 kids are doing. Thank you, Mr. Stevens for being such a blessing to our family!

Since Bugsy is little he will work to earn stripes on his white belt first. Mr. Kelley works with his class & he is wonderful with them.

Taekwando

Recently the 4 oldest started Taekwando. A local studio is offering homeschoolers FREE lessons. I could hardly believe it when I read the post on the local chat group. We have been wanting to do this for the boys for years but couldn't afford it. Since it is for all ages I signed up the 4. We did splurge on the uniforms but even those were offered to us at cost. The kids LOVE the lessons. They practice on their own at home all week. This is an amazing blessing & I'm deeply grateful for it.
I don't take pics at the studio but here are a few from home. The kids put on their uniforms for the first time & then had a great time posing for the camera.
