Taekwando

Here are some pics from Taekwando today & at home afterwards. I am thrilled at how all 4 kids are doing. Thank you, Mr. Stevens for being such a blessing to our family!

AWANA Award Night

At the end of May our church's AWANA program wrapped up the year with an Awards Night. The kids had been eagerly anticipating this as they would earn more patches & ribbons. Sweet Pea had a End of the School Year Bash to attend for the middle school & high schoolers. The girls were all asked to bring a treat & the boys a drink. She made a spice cake from scratch.

Scooters on Sunday

After Darin had left on Easter Sunday the kids were a bit restless. We suggested they play outside and enjoy the gorgeous weather. They were more than happy to find their scooters & helmets and hit the sidewalks. The zoomed up and down back and forth for at least an hour. I was very impressed at how well Bugs did. This past fall he couldn't ride the scooter at all but now that it is spring our 3-year old was doing a fantastic job. Poor Elvis had a bad spill when he was going downhill on the driveway but he was a trooper & after getting cleaned up and given a band aid he was back in action.

Homecoming

Princess & I came home from the hospital a week ago tomorrow. It was a very special time bringing her home for the first time.

The kids, Grannie, Grandpa & Tim left to go swimming. While they were gone I broke out the cake that the hospital gave me at the birthday party. Dave & I shared. Chocolate with LOTS of frosting! Yum-my!
