Yes, I Know........

.....what you're thinking. MORE kittens? Yep. Sassy snuck out and the roaming neighborhood tomcat found her. Thankfully this will be the last batch for us. Tinkerbelle, Tucker & Luci have all been spayed in the last month. Luci was actually taken in today. Sassy will have her turn as soon as the kittens are weaned. Even though I'm a bit stressed at the thought of trying to find homes for these kittens I have to admit they sure are cute. If we lived on a farm or even an acre or so I'd keep them in a heartbeat.
Snuggled together.

I'm thrilled that we have one that looks just like Sassy.
I adore calicos!

This one looks like daddy.

See the little cord?

Last Snuggles

Precious, now known as Rose, went to her new home the Monday before Thanksgiving. It was hard to see her go. She is such a perfect mix of being snuggly yet playful & independent. She was the pick of the litter in my opinion. Before she went I made certain to get in some snuggle time with her. She loved to curl up under my chin and sleep. I absolutely adored this. I miss her lots but am happy that she has a wonderful new home.

Such a beautiful kitten!

Precious joins me as I work on my laptop.

Cuddling with my real baby & my fur baby.
Precious was always very good with Princess.

Pure bliss.

So precious.
The last day she was with us I spent the whole morning snuggling with her & Princess.
George went to his new home on the same day. He is now the pet of a 4 year old little girl. We haven't heard any updates but hope to soon. Here is a last picture of Sweet Pea & George. She misses both kittens very much.

New Additions

Yes, we have kittens again! Some of you may remember that this time last year our cat Tinkerbelle gave birth to 4 kittens. Well, wouldn't you know that EXACTLY a year to the day she had another litter! What are the odds of that! And she gave birth in the evening both times too. Wild! This time she gave birth to 3 kittens. They are adorable. We need to find them homes. Though we are quite smitten there is simply no more room in the inn. If you know someone who wants to give them a loving home please let me know.

Born on September 27th, 2009.

Kitty Dress Up

Yes, we love our kittens. And yes, we have a silly sense of humor. Lol! Recently when sorting through baby clothes I decided to have a little fun. A couple of the kittens were lounging on my bed and I suggested to Sweet Pea that we dress them up a bit. She giggled and joined right in. Sassy was our first baby doll. She wasn't too happy with the situation and tried to get away. We were able to get a few pics before she made her escape. Next was Romeo aka Pixie. This cat is the most patient cat I have ever met in my life. He will take just about anything patiently waiting until it is over to mosey on to his next adventure.......or nap. He was a hoot letting us pose him and take many snapshots.
"Baby Doll Sassy"
Isn't she sweet? Love the bows & the tail here.
A Relaxed "Baby" Romeo
Yes, he is a boy. And yes, we put him in a dress. =)
Love the expression....
Such a patient kitty allowing us to have our fun. Lol!
Next was a bonnet........
Okay, playtime is over. We decided he was such a good sport we'd let him be a real kitty again. Hee, hee.

Her Babies

Sweet Pea had some fun recently swaddling the kittens up in a towel. It was quite amusing. We enjoyed the looks on their little whiskery faces the most.

Bailey is our cozy kitty. He is cuddly like a stuffed animal.

Hmmmm......how can I escape?

Pixie/ Now renamed Romeo
This is the most patient cat I have ever seen.

Sassy is a sweet little lady.

All swaddled up.

Aren't kittens fun?

Treehouse, Drawings & Naps

Some shots from our week:

The kittens love the boxes that are piled high. They hang out in there constantly. I think they reason Bugs can't get to them up there! =)
(Left to Right = Pixie, Sassy, Sky Walker & Bailey)

I think the sunlight coming from the skylight is an added bonus.

Pixie & Sassy Relaxing

Bailey kicking back.

Learning more about Christopher Columbus
I read more of our history book to Elvis & Boo and asked them to draw about what they heard.

Boo working on her drawing.

This was before she colored it in.

I thought they both did a fantastic job!

Bugs wasn't feeling well & was terribly cranky & whiny. We were all relieved when he finally fell asleep. He was tons happier when he woke up!

Pixie is determined when it comes to a treat!

Another nap! Wow! Two days in a week! Much to his delight once he settled in Sassy & Pixie curled up and napped with him.

The Days Before Christmas

Here are a few miscellaneous shots from the days leading up to Christmas Day.

Bailey

Sky Walker
Or as I like to call him, "Sky-Sky".

One night Dave spent some time with the boys making models. They were so excited!

All it needs now is paint!

My dear friend Megan sent us a package for Christmas. It was filled with this to-die-for delicious caramel popcorn drizzled with chocolate. There was also a homemade muffin mix which I am looking forward to mixing up. Last but not least she included a blanket for Baby that she stitched herself. It is gorgeous. Elvis loves how soft it feels. I can hardly wait to cuddle Baby in it. Thank you, Megan!
