Birthday Balloons

Elvis' birthday fell on a camp day this year. He was excited to spend the day at one of his favorite places & let everyone know it was his special day. When we went to pick him up at the end of the day I brought these balloons to surprise him with. He was grinning from ear to ear! It made him feel special to be celebrated in front of everyone. To top it off as we were walking to our van friends of ours stopped and sang 'Happy Birthday' to him at the top of their lungs. What great friends!

A Very Special Day

This is what greeted me soon after I woke up this morning. Breakfast in bed served to me by my loving husband & 5 precious children! Today is our 16th wedding anniversary & Dave took the day off as a surprise. How wonderful to have him home! We spent some time at home and then splurged on a movie & a late lunch. It was a great day & so nice spending time with my husband.

I'm feeling nostalgic today and thought I'd share a couple of photos. These aren't the best quality as they are a photo of a photo. But I wanted to share them anyway.

I feel extremely blessed. God gave me my husband & best friend all wrapped into one. We have gone through so much together and have only grown stronger for it all. I love him with all my heart & pray we have many, many more years together.

Lookie what hubby ordered! They came in the mail yesterday all wrapped up. Two blueberry bushes & then an extra surprise!

And an extra special surprise! Lilies! I had some of these same lilies back in MA. I can hardly wait until they bloom!

I unwrapped them & set them to soak. We will plant them this weekend. Can you already taste the fresh blueberries? Lol!

Sweet Surprise

Daddy brought home a fantastic surprise tonight!

First everyone had to close their eyes.

He brought these in from his car!

It was Customer Care Appreciation Day & they were rewarded for all their hard work.

Auntie Tawdra

A couple of weeks ago the kids received a package full of surprises from their Auntie Tawdra in Florida. She was above & beyond generous! The kids had a great time ripping into the box once I gave them the green light.

A New Purse AND a Gift Card!

I got a big kick out of Bugs. He took the roll of paper towels out of the box and gave it a great, big hug. LOL!

Boo received a new purse, gift card and some pretty clothes from Haley. Thank you!

The birthday boy received a gift card, a cool Transformer (sorry Aunt Tawdra he is keeping it =) ), AND a shirt from Disney World! Can you tell he's excited?

Mommy received toilet paper & paper towels. Seriously I appreciate these! The toilet paper saved a trip to the store and I ALWAYS need paper towels for cleaning for showings. (BTW, Tawdra sends these to fill up the empty space in the box. Great idea!)

Bugs was very happy with his new cars & plane. He received a gift card too AND a Disney shirt that matches big brother's! WOW!
