All The Way From MA

In November my Mom sent us 7, yes seven, boxes of books. If you know my Mom you know she is a voracious reader. She has been collecting Christian fiction for years. She recently decided to clean her collection out. When we were visiting this summer she had Sweet Pea & I go through 3 huge boxes of books and pick out what we wanted. Since we didn't have any room in the van to bring them back with us she promised she would mail them later. It was like Christmas when they arrived!

The postman was very kind & stacked them all by the front door for us.

Grannie tucked a few goodies in each box.

Princess said, "Ooooo!" when she saw Mr. Snowman.

She wore these mittens around the house for hours. She also kept this sweet little apron on which I adore. My older girls used to wear it when they visited Nana & helped her bake.

Mittens!

Gloves, a pencil & glue stick for Bugsy.

The girls dove right into the books.

Princess had such a fun time. She grabbed 2 of the pencils & had a rocki'n time drumming on the boxes. Lol!

Rock n' Roll!

She sang along too!

Bookworms that we are the girls & I are devouring the books. Thank you, Mom/Grannie!

Auntie Tawdra

A couple of weeks ago the kids received a package full of surprises from their Auntie Tawdra in Florida. She was above & beyond generous! The kids had a great time ripping into the box once I gave them the green light.

Almost Open!

A New Purse AND a Gift Card!

I got a big kick out of Bugs. He took the roll of paper towels out of the box and gave it a great, big hug. LOL!

Boo received a new purse, gift card and some pretty clothes from Haley. Thank you!

The birthday boy received a gift card, a cool Transformer (sorry Aunt Tawdra he is keeping it =) ), AND a shirt from Disney World! Can you tell he's excited?

Mommy received toilet paper & paper towels. Seriously I appreciate these! The toilet paper saved a trip to the store and I ALWAYS need paper towels for cleaning for showings. (BTW, Tawdra sends these to fill up the empty space in the box. Great idea!)

Bugs was very happy with his new cars & plane. He received a gift card too AND a Disney shirt that matches big brother's! WOW!

Playing cars in his new shirt.

I tried to get a pic of the boys in their cool, matching shirts. Bugs tried his best to pose but his new cars were calling him. LOL!

Elvis posed while Bugs has one hand on his new cars.

Thank you very much, Aunt Tawdra!
