Promises

As promised here are the pictures I said I'd post. I couldn't send them from the hospital as it took forever to load things on their service. I imagine there were a lot of people using it at one time. Be prepared to see LOTS of pics in the next few days. We are loving having our Princess with us and I want to make sure to preserve as many memories as possible. I know these days are going to fly by.

These are all pics from Princess' first day in this world. Isn't that amazing when you think about it? On Monday, Princess' birthday, Dave & I had a wonderful day full of blessings. It was priceless to have that time together in the hospital, just the 3 of us, to bond and then later in the day all of us together as we had our first time as a family of 7. My cup runneth over.

Princess was NOT happy to be removed from Mama's warm womb. She started squawking as soon as she saw light. Lol. It was music to my ears as I knew if she could cry that loud she must be fine.

Her first check up in the OR.

Mama & Princess meet face-to-face for the very first time.
I will never forget that moment.

Cleaned up and getting ready to move to the nursery.

Mama & Princess get to have some snuggle time.

There is nothing in this world like holding your newborn baby for the first time.

Meet our Little Princess.

A true blessing from God.

Hasn't God been good to me?

Thank you, God for these precious blessings you have entrusted us with.

offspring a reward from him.

are children born in one's youth.

when they contend with their opponents in court.

She Is HERE!

Our beautiful baby girl is here! She was born Monday morning at 8:06. Both Dave & I think this is really neat because our anniversary is August 6th. I am big on meanings and all. =) She is so precious and we are enjoying every, single second & snuggle with her. Right now Dave's nickname for her is "Noodle". Lol. Mine for her is "Princess".

Our Beautiful Baby Girl
Don't you love the pink bow the nursery nurses put on her?

Sticking out her little, pink tongue
I will be posting more pics very soon. The Internet service is very slow here at the hospital. Plus I've been a little busy too. Hee, hee. =)

Be Back Soon!

I will be back as soon as I can. I'm not certain if it will be a day or two or longer. It will depend on how surgery goes as well as my recovery.

I am a bit nervous but terribly excited as well for this wonderful moment in our lives. It's hard to believe the time is almost here! Please keep us in your prayers. A huge thank you to all of you who have already let us know you are praying, sending your love & waiting to hear our news! Love ya right back!

Chosen With Love

This is the special outfit we chose for Baby to come home in. Dave, the kids & I all chose it together. I absolutely love it!

Friday Fill-In

1. Angel or not, I will push back if you push me.

2. I used to be one of those people who'd bend any way you want me. Not anymore!

3. As my mother used to say, you're full of baloney.

4. Right now being so pregnant I'm ready for a nap after I'm done working out or doing something strenuous. Heck! I'm ready for a nap just thinking about it! LOL!

5. Even in the most crowded of rooms I can spot My Love.

6. MONDAY is a day fraught with peril.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to finishing up projects & maybe roasting marshmellows over the fire pit, tomorrow my plans include a consignment sale, getting my mom from the airport & trying to get some rest and Sunday, I want to pack my bag for the hospital!

Kitty Dress Up

Yes, we love our kittens. And yes, we have a silly sense of humor. Lol! Recently when sorting through baby clothes I decided to have a little fun. A couple of the kittens were lounging on my bed and I suggested to Sweet Pea that we dress them up a bit. She giggled and joined right in. Sassy was our first baby doll. She wasn't too happy with the situation and tried to get away. We were able to get a few pics before she made her escape. Next was Romeo aka Pixie. This cat is the most patient cat I have ever met in my life. He will take just about anything patiently waiting until it is over to mosey on to his next adventure.......or nap. He was a hoot letting us pose him and take many snapshots.
"Baby Doll Sassy"
Isn't she sweet? Love the bows & the tail here.
A Relaxed "Baby" Romeo
Yes, he is a boy. And yes, we put him in a dress. =)
Love the expression....
Such a patient kitty allowing us to have our fun. Lol!
Next was a bonnet........
Okay, playtime is over. We decided he was such a good sport we'd let him be a real kitty again. Hee, hee.

Bailey the Computer Cat

These pics were too cute not to share. Bailey is one talented cat!
Sweet Pea got a big kick out of these.

Email away, Bailey!

Daddy Bugsy

On one of our nice, sunshiny days the kids were playing outside. They were using Daddy's work shed as their "house". The girls had their baby dolls with them and were playing. Bugsy wanted to join in too so Sweet Pea came inside and got another doll for him. Her name is Faith. He was so adorable playing daddy to his doll.

Daddy Bugsy

Gently placing Faith down for a nap.

Here as he was posing for the camera he said, "Faith is saying cheese too." Lol!

Tour

Tonight we went on a tour of the maternity ward. There was a nice sized group of people & we were able to bring all the kids. Boo & Elvis were especially excited to see where Baby will be born & Mama will be staying. We even got to see some newborns. Elvis was super excited then! He was amazed at how small they all were. He also asked the tour guide, "What do you do with the babies after you wrap them up all tight?" She had been telling us what they do with the newborns right after they are born. He was quite concerned that these precious little babies were being confined so tightly. Both the guide & I explained to him that the babies actually like being wrapped up as this is how they are in their mommy's tummies. You could see him visibly relax as the worry melted away. Precious.

The tour guide was very nice & Dave and I agreed that we feel more relaxed after taking the tour and seeing where we are all going to be & learning their policies. This is a new experience for us as not only do we have a new doctor but a new hospital, surgeon & pediatrician as well. Boo Bear, Elvis & Bug-a-Boo were all born in the same hospital with the same midwife & pediatrician. That's over 11 years with the same people & place. It feels strange not to have the familiar surround us as we go in for this huge event. As I mentioned above, we feel more relaxed now after seeing things for ourselves. And to top it off I found out all new moms get a free 15-minute professional massage during their visit. How sweet is that?

New Shed!

HERE IT IS! What Dave has been working on & we have been wishing for! Our new shed! This was no easy task with the hundreds of screws, nuts & bolts; the funky weather; our busy schedule; the little bit of daylight left each evening after work and having it be a one-man job because ..........well ......we only have one man. The roof is on now as well as the floor inside. Yay, yay, yay! We are thrilled at the added storage this gives us! Now Dave can get his work shed back AND we can maybe walk through the garage!

Ta-Dah!

Doesn't it hold a lot? Yay!
