Valentine's Party

On Feb. 11th we had our homeschool Valentine's Day party. The kids had a great time. I was in charge of preschool games. I spent most of my time trying to keep the kids entertained for 2 hours and making sure they didn't wander. I had one Houdini that was gone every time I turned my head. Whew! There were games, crafts, pizza & lots of treats. And of course Valentines!

Bugs playing before the party started.

Elvis had a really good time playing card & board games.
Later he played Keep Away.

Boo Bear hung out with her TN best friend.
(She says she has a MA best friend & a TN best friend.)

Sweet Pea played games & hung out with the teens.

Time for pizza!

Dessert!

Boo's buddy

Princess was SO good. Since I was leading the preschoolers she spent most of her time in her pack n' play. She was "rescued" for awhile by Leah & later by Jen. Thank you, ladies!

I have a few more pics from our party but I can't get them off the card right now. I hope to figure it out soon!

Homeschool Valentine's Party

We attended our first homeschool function here in Tennessee. We found a homeschool group that is out of our church. How handy is that? They were having their annual Valentine's party. We were invited to come and happily did so. The 3 younger kids had a very good time. Sweet Pea didn't find anyone to hang out with which made me sad. We will keep trying though. Not all the members were there so we're hoping there is still a good friend waiting out there for her!

First the kids divided up into different age groups to play games.
Here is Boo's group playing Musical Chairs. She won a round & was rewarded with a box of candy!

There they go!

Elvis' group played some games too. All the kid were rewarded with treats. He was very happy about that!

Bugsy's group had Legos & toys to play with. He liked this very much!

Selecting their treats.

I didn't have time to take anymore pics as I was busy juggling pizza, kids & the like. Each family purchased their own pizza and the group leader picked it up. Ours worked out perfectly for us. We then had tables of desserts and drinks to choose from as each family had brought one of each to share. At the end the children all exchanged Valentines. It was a fun day!
