THE EASTER EXPERIENCE

We had a lot of fun at the Easter Experience today.  It was hosted by a local church and everything there was FREE.  We had popcorn, water, popsicles, and cotton candy.  The kids played tons of carnival games and went in the bouncy house.  They won several prizes.  The egg hunt went very well for the boys but no so well  for little Princess.  That was okay because her older brother shared his eggs with her.  Such sweetness.  It was perfect weather outside and lots of fun to have some relaxing family time.

Show & Tell Day

We're trying out a new homeschool group this year. It gives the children lots of opportunities for social activities, field trips & community service projects. Many things are divided by age while others mix the age groups.
Bugsy and I recently went to the 'Show & Tell Day' for K-2. I believe 7 or 8 children his age attended. There were a few younger siblings there as well. His show & tell was to perform a couple of his TKD patterns. It worked perfectly as he had class right before this.

He was first to do his 'Show & Tell'.

She brought paper & taught the kids how to make a puff ball. ( I think that's what it was called. I'm not really sure. Lol.)

This was a big hit with the boys. They whacked those poor hippos like mad! LOL! See their little faces?

It was a very fun afternoon. Bugsy was very happy to have his buddy N there and made some new friends too. We are looking forward to the Christmas party in December.

Last Day & What A Great One It Was!

Today was our last day official day of co-op for the year. We have had such a great time learning together. We started our day with prayer & then begin our geography lesson. The middle schoolers & high schoolers did their world geography in the next room. Here is Boo & her friends presenting their report on Israel.

This was actually taken in the dark. Miss Abby did part of their science lesson by flashlight. The kids loved that! They all had several turns at looking at slides under her microscope. Cool!

We brought cupcakes to share with everyone to celebrate Princess' recent birthday.

Their final fun in history was to make up their own country. The kids were incredibly creative! Elvis even made up his own song.

While finishing up some fun worksheets Bugs called out for help. I was across the room & made my way over to help him. Before I got there one of our sweet girls responded & helped him with the entire sheet. I was very touched by her kindness & immediate response. This is one of my favorite things about having all our kids of various ages together instead of separating them by each grade level.

We have enjoyed our co-op immesely this year. We have learned so much & had a ton of fun doing it. We've made many great friends too. We are already planning & looking forward to next year. Each time we start to talk about it I get super excited! I can hardly wait until August!
