Due to the news that peanut butter prices are about to soar I am stocking up a bit. Tonight we went to Aldi and I bought these 40oz. jars. The price hadn't risen yet & I was relieved. Peanut butter is a must have in our house. What about your family? Are you concerned that this staple will soon cost almost double? What is your plan in dealing with this price increase?

Peanut Butter
Due to the news that peanut butter prices are about to soar I am stocking up a bit. Tonight we went to Aldi and I bought these 40oz. jars. The price hadn't risen yet & I was relieved. Peanut butter is a must have in our house. What about your family? Are you concerned that this staple will soon cost almost double? What is your plan in dealing with this price increase?
We are BIG peanut butter eaters in this house. We all love it. I picked up a few jars also, but I am sure that even if the price rises I will continue to buy it. We just may not eat it as often.

ReplyDeleteRhonda, the same goes for us. I know I can't stock up for the year. I wish I could. But I'll buy now what I can fit in our budget. After that I'm praying for lots of coupons!

Giant Eagle had the huge JIF twin packs on sale this week so I bought 2. Once I figure out the budget for next week, I may stock up on more. Jalyn LOVES peanut butter. She eats it every day... not sure what we'l do once we run out.. yikes.
